The new push for the book in 2010

Well, here goes, the blog of a wannabe writer. I was told that writing the book was the easy bit, and thats correct, the agents and publishers are the hardest step. I was also told that 90% of manuscripts get binned when they fall on the desks of agents and publishers. This would seem about right.
When i wrote Hunter which seemed an age ago it took over my life, day and night. As someone with a dream of fame and fortune it had to be published come what may. (maybe the wrong thought)
It was almost as if i was taken over by something when i wrote this book, something to this day i cannot explain. It told me the story and i wrote it, in my own non gramatical way.
Its only now 1 year on after publishing through i-universe that i feel the need to get back to it, feel the need to reach out and tell the story. Maybe this is the begining or is it the end? who knows, but the fact that you are reading this means you want to know more. What makes you write?
